Third Trimester!

I made it, I am officially in my third trimester!! I realize I sound like a broken record, but I still find myself in complete shock and amazement that this is actually happening. Nothing is impossible with God!!

Yet, how real it truly is as my little gal reminds me frequently throughout the day of her presence as she bounces around so much that I can watch my stomach move. Truly a miracle!! Of course as soon as I call for Aaron and the boys her show is over, leaving her brothers disappointed yet again that they still have not been able to feel her move.

So far I have been feeling pretty good with the exception of some back pain here and there. My guess is the feeling will change the further I move into the third trimester and find myself not able to bend or move much. Thankfully I still have a lot of energy, which has been surprising to me. Perhaps I am making up for the 11 weeks of bed rest, but I sure am hoping it stays this way.

I had told the boys that once we found out the gender I would take them shopping and they could help pick out a few things for their sis, as they refer to her. I wish I had it on camera as they were so excited looking through all of the items and thought we should probably buy just about everything. They would lay outfits on the floor to see if they matched and met their approval. I must say they have good taste. They even found a little shirt with her name on it, “Baby Sis”!

Ethan has already become protective big brother making me wonder if he will let other people hold his sister. He has stated his disapproval to me several times of other people touching my baby belly and has made it very clear that only he and Kolbe are allowed to touch the baby belly.

Only 93 days to go and reminding myself I don’t need to go into panic mode yet. We still have time to get everything bought and the nursery put together. Although, my nightmare last night was that we couldn’t bring our baby girl home because we hadn’t bought the infant seat yet. Pregnancy dreams!

You have so much energy! Homeschooling mom of two with one on the way. I feel encouraged whenever I read your posts and it makes me feel like I can keep on truckin’ with my toddler and one on the way 🙂

Thanks, only because I can make up for it with sleep! I crash hard at night and cheat because my feet don’t hit the floor until 7:30am. If I had a toddler I would be exhausted from chasing them all day too!

Your family is such a miracle to me. To have your two adorable boys and for God to bless you with a little girl. Amazing. My brother and sister-in-law waited 12 yrs for a baby, then, God give them two girls within 20 months. We never know God’s will for us. Pictures of your family put a smile on my face. Peace, Love, Joy & Prayers and Happy Thanksgiving.
