Race Day

We participated in the annual Packers 1K kids run again this year, it seems to becoming a tradition. The boys love it and Grace has now been inaugurated as an official Packer’s fan.

I guess this picture gives it away that I am not a native, while the rest of the family donned their Packer attire. The boys decided they are getting me a Packer shirt for Christmas.

Last year Aaron pushed me in a wheel chair while I was on bed rest and this year I pushed a stroller with our 6 month old! Amazing how much changes in one year. Filled with gratitude.

Grace’s first medal and her only thought, does this make a good teether?

It was a hot, hot, day, so the boys thoroughly enjoyed the water misters at the end of the run. They ended up more wet from standing in front of these then from sweating from the heat.

The boys were in their glory as they ran through the tunnel out onto the field imagining themselves as Aaron Rodgers and Eddie Lacy. Although we took plenty of time for photos inside the stadium, if you ask the boys we still won the race!
