Life at the Lake

I am still recovering from a six day vacay away at the lake. Late nights, laughs and a 7 hour drive home! The time went by way too fast and saying bye to family is never easy to do with my boys shedding a few tears on the way home. Grateful for the time we had and happy the boys love it as much as I do.

Being with family is something I always look forward to and enjoy. Living further away makes me treasure the time all the more as it always seems so short. In a blink of an eye we went from little kids playing together to now married with kids of our own.

It was nice to have a week to relax, not worrying about where we had to be or what we needed to do. Refreshing to just let the day pass without a schedule. I would like to say it was also restful, but late nights for all of us. At least Grace got the memo and slept in like a rockstar!
