A New Direction

This past week has been filled with a lot of exciting news as our dream of becoming a family is drawing near and finally coming to fruition! There has been a lot of hustle and bustle and way more lists and list making than even this type A lady would like in a day.

With all of the exciting news comes the close of one chapter and the beginning of a new one. Leaving the workforce and a job of almost 9 years and being stay-at-home mom!! This is what I always dreamed of doing and I am filled with much excitement and hope to serve my family in this way!

Wrapped up in all of the planning, preparation, and packing I hadn’t thought much about the finality of leaving my job, until a few days ago. And when I did, I realized it will probably be harder than I thought, because it was more than just a job. Truly a unique place to work, a place that has shown my husband and I much support and prayers over the years.

I have been so blessed to work with such great people that it’s bitter-sweet to see this chapter end. A place where I met my husband, grown in my faith and formed beautiful friendships!

They threw me a surprise farewell today, here’s a preview…trying really hard not to cry in front of everyone!

Ok, if you won’t cry I will share some tears for you. How beautiful. From meeting your hubby at Relevant Radio to the evolving in your faith and now being a mom. How good God is. How awesome is his plan for us. God bless you on the best job in the world. I still thank God and Dave that I can have the best job in the world. Oh, by the way did you get told that the hours for the job is 24/7? Isn’t that perfect hours. I love it.

Cassie, thank you for sharing your story yesterday on Relevant Radio. I’m sure I speak for many listeners who have heard of “my producer Cassie” from Drew’s mouth so many times over the years.
I remember hearing about your marriage on Drew’s show, and know how fondly and respectfully he spoke of you from time to time. I guess we, the listeners, all feel like we kind of ‘know you’ vicariously through the show. I just want you to know that I, like many many others, will be praying for you and your family, and rejoicing with you on this new path you now take. I am glad
your blog was mentioned on the air so I can follow your life, and will be there to pray for you on your journey. Even if you don’t get a comment from everyone who is praying along with you, please know there are thousands more who heard that show, and silently add you to their list of
special intentions. God Bless, and strap in for the ride of your life! It is the best roller coaster you’ll ever ride…and the most rewarding. Malley (mom of 3 grown children, 1 grandchild, one soon to be born grandchild, former home schooling mom, full time Real Estate agent, publisher, and serial entrepreneaur…..you can do it!)

Cassie, I have called in many times to talk to Dtew and Ray G and various priests for true Catholic advise. I met you when I answered phone for a pledge drive a couple years ago. I ann the mother of 10 children. God has blessed me abundantly!! I quit my “;job” the one society says is a job because I got a paycheck almost 16 yrs ago to be a stay at home Mom. I cried when I left. I loved mt job of 16 yrs, people were great, benefits great, pay was good but they were basically paying me to stay away from my kids. Hardest but best decision of my life. We have less but less is more. I would tell you in a heartbeat you are making the right choice. The job you have is priceless.. money cannot compete to what you will receive from your boys and the grace God will give you for doing the job He has given you. How proud He is of you. I thought I would miss my job but almost 16 years later I haven’t missed it once… no not once!! May God give you the peace that only HE can give you. Your reliance on God will increase and His blessings on you and your family will double. I am so happy for you and your husband. Congratulations on your new journey and if you ever find yourself in Fond du Lac I would love to meet you and your sons. How great God is!! Mary Mpul My email is moulmom@yahoo.com and my cel is 920-979-7106. An email, telephone call or text is always welcomed. Thank you for all your time at Relevant Radio.. I am one of your biggest supporters in Fond du Lac. I tell everyone I run into about you and Frew and Go Ask Your Father… they are all so wonderful!! 🙂 I will keep you in my prayers, Mary 🙂
