As we continue to celebrate this most holy season I want to wish you and your family a beautiful, joyful and Merry Christmas!! Sharing a few pictures from our Christmas Eve as I unpack and catch up on laundry from our time away visiting family. The celebration has just begun, much more partying to happen over the next couple of weeks! ... view the post

Getting Old

It seems there has been so much I have wanted to write about lately, but time seems to escape me as I blink and the kiddos seem to be growing faster than I can believe. Sometimes the days all blend together and I can't remember what happened when, but I pray there are memories being made, joy lived and love imparted that will remain with all of us no matter how old. I officially have a seven year old. It literally seems like yesterday that we were being emailed pictures of him when he was only three. Thankful

Trying to get a photo of the kiddos is becoming much more difficult, especially with Grace no longer wanting to sit still. We spent the day with Aaron's side of the family. The boys played outside all day with their cousins, Grace ate, smiled and scooted all over the place and enjoyed the fact that naps were not mandated. My amazing husband, two of the most wonderful boys, the miracle of our baby girl, the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling my sons, my husband's job, ... view the post

On Sleep and Gratitude

1.  Nothing cuter than a patriotic baby. Grace's vote, write in for her daddy. With so much anger, hatred and division months before, during and after the election I pray that our nation will unite as one. There is so much to be done and our strength will come in unity. As Kolbe practiced writing today, One Nation, Under God! 2.  I used to enjoy setting my clock back, an extra hour of sleep now I just see it as a nasty trick to play on parents, which completely destroys any sort of routine for small children and Grace is no exception. Up at 5:30am and wanting to go to bed at 6:00. Daylight Savings is some kind of ... view the post

3 Under $30

With the addition of Grace and in the full swing of home schooling I have found getting dressed in the morning a real challenge. If I am dressed before 9:00 the boys ask me where I am going or if we have someone coming over. No, just got lucky and had a few minutes to spare to throw something on, which will probably be covered in baby food by 9:30. Still we try. Just make sure you give me a heads up if you ever stop by before 10:00. A few items that have caught my eye this Fall. (Don’t forget you can earn cash back when ordering online by joining Ebates!) 24.99 // LOFT I am loving all of the flowy shirts ... view the post
